Project Description

As a site office in Shela, this experience center is the first encounter for visitors aspiring to buy a home with the Shivalik Group. This motive led the design concept of instigating curiosity and creating wonderment. The layout itself manifests this while providing private spaces for new buyers to discuss with the developers team, among other areas. A break-away from the norm of creating perpendicular walls, curvy panels create appealing spaces to sit while waiting. A central courtyard serves as a refreshing ‘green’ contrast to the built-form around. Sketches by in-house talent of our team were enlarged and used as graphic panels. These large panels in the reception and waiting area successfully create an unusual drama, while the furniture and subtle color palette balances this unique approach. Utilizing various elements of lighting to emphasize different components complement the design direction.
